Listed below are a few terms that Super Color Digital feels are important to fully understand when it comes to "green" knowledge.

Bio-degradable: A material that when left in a landfill, breaks down and is absorbed into the eco-system.

Recyclable: Involves processing used materials into new products in order to prevent waste of potentially useful materials and reduce the consumption of fresh raw materials.

Reusable: Where the item is used again for the same function or where it can be used for a completely new function.

Although recyclable and reusable seem to be very similar terms, the key difference lies in the fact that recycling takes the old products and turns it into a raw material that can then be used to create a new product/material. Reusable simply allows for the old product to be given a different use/value.

At its most simple form, the term “going green” means to make choices that reduce, minimize, or even attempt to reverse the negative impact of our actions on the earth and its resources.
